Together with ECM, we are proud to generate clean, renewable electricity with the help of our 82 kWp photovoltaic system. This investment not only reduces our carbon footprint but also allows us to make a tangible contribution to a healthier planet.

Powering Profitec with the sun

Almost all of the electricity our PV system generates is consumed directly within our company. Today, solar energy already covers 38% of our total electricity demand – and we’re not stopping there. We are actively exploring ways to expand our system and integrate energy storage, so we can maximize self-consumption and further strengthen the sustainability benefits of our approach.

A positive impact on the planet

The impact of our solar energy system goes far beyond our company walls. Each year, it helps us avoid 50 tons of CO₂ emissions – the equivalent of planting 70 trees – while also saving 42 tons of coal. These numbers reflect more than just statistics; they represent a concrete step away from fossil fuels and a commitment to global climate protection.
